PVC Strip Curtains for Warehouses and Industrial Doors
Industrial facilities frequently need to separate working areas while allowing employees and equipment to move between them.
PVC strip curtains are widely used for this purpose because they create flexible doorway barriers without requiring a conventional solid door to be opened and closed each time.
What Are PVC Strip Curtains?
PVC strip curtains consist of individual flexible PVC strips suspended vertically from a mounting system.
The strips overlap to create a partial barrier while allowing people or suitable equipment to pass through.
Depending on the installation, transparent strips can also help maintain visibility between adjacent areas.
Common Industrial Applications
Warehouse Entrances
Strip curtains can be installed across internal warehouse openings to help separate different operational zones.
Loading and Dispatch Areas
Flexible PVC barriers may help reduce uncontrolled air movement through frequently used openings.
Manufacturing Facilities
PVC strip curtains can separate production areas while supporting practical movement between workspaces.
Temperature-Controlled Areas
Specially formulated PVC strips may be used in temperature-controlled environments. Material suitability must be checked against the required operating temperature.
Benefits of PVC Strip Curtains
Convenient access: Individual strips move aside as personnel or equipment pass through.
Visibility: Transparent PVC allows people to see activity on the other side of the opening.
Flexible separation: Strip curtains provide a practical alternative to fully open internal doorways.
Adaptable installation: Strip dimensions and overlap can be selected according to the opening and application.
Choosing the Right PVC Material
Important considerations include strip width, thickness, overlap, operating temperature, traffic frequency and mounting requirements.
Not all transparent flexible PVC sheets are suitable for every strip-curtain application. The intended use and product specifications should be confirmed before manufacturing or installation.
Conclusion
PVC strip curtains offer a practical way to manage access and separation in industrial environments.
